Samuel sat down winded. It took more to hold back the bloodlust than usual. As strong as he was he wouldn’t be able to outrun the moon much longer. Especially as he dealt in blood adrenaline and no small amount of well served pain. However, the sheer cost alone of having made this trip would prohibit him from giving full lease to his bestial nature. Sitting down he looked on his handiwork. No alpha beast of any variety would have passed out from his onslaught. It was simple concussive damage and yet the would be Rex of Shreveport was peacefully snoring. Taking the towel offered he cleaned his gloves just in time as his phone vibrated to life.
"So my good friend it seems a member of your local constabulary is famous and quite beautiful. It also seems that your brethren are in a spot of trouble with the law..and that the lovely Estelle has gone to the Savannah lands for good."
The voice brought back surprisingly pleasant memories considering they revolved around vampire politics. He smiled despite himself. It was taken as a sign that he might need to check in on his past associates and business partners more often.
“ Estelle is no longer with us. I occasionally forget just how far her pipeline stretched. I am sorry that one of your suppliers would not be able to continue supplying your Kiss. By the way how is Many-Moons doing these days. He is not still averse to embracing the modern age is he?"
He only mentioned the Master of the Phoenix Kiss as way of gauging the level of business this call was actually in regards to. He wasn’t a vampire yet he found their way of politely moving things along beneficial from time to time.

Samuel would know with how he said request he meant command" He has not returned and I've been fighting off the vultures but I grow weary my friend if I find someone suitable I will let them have it I can do nothing else as a nearby kiss keeps testing our borders"
He was remiss to let anyone take that spot but if moons was not dead he'd be not fit to lead the way belle played.

Samuel sighed as he smacked the would be King of the lycanthropes in Shreveport. He still wouldn’t wake it looked as if Samuel had overestimated the man’s strength. He wouldn’t press his advantage as he didn’t know when the man would come back around . He tied him to the chair it wouldn’t hold even against a weakling like him. But it would be an early warning system if Samuel allowed his guard to slip.
That was not good news hearing of the old Master of the City. "That is indeed good to hear, sadly. I have to visit a few more of her hubs and the last major connection she had was a Picaro out near you. How’s Scottsdale these days still a cold war zone or have the Onca taken over as they were trying years ago?"
That sadly was another mistake he’d allowed to go unchecked the Picaro had been a trickster true to the myths and legends but he was minorly beneficial at times far removed from now.

His ears perked and where he sat he smirked same old Samuel. " the onca have gotten stronger but our new ulfric is actually a good fit hes kept them in line and doesn't take well to interlopers"
At the mention of Picaro he shook his head that man was trouble they all were but he'd not need to say it" your mustangs line bore another two foals this last season the second it fetched a wonderful price I'll send you your cut unless you rather come get it if you're out this way for your business"
He always kept one of the line Samuel had used a motorcycle to chase down and then had broken the beast himself it had become a legend on the ranch.

"That could be a good thing provided he doesn’t stand in the way of commerce." It wasn’t a threat but would sound as much to anyone who didn’t know Samuel but merely heard his reputation. Samuel limited his diversification and maintained his central capital stream. Getting commodities from one person to another as safely. It seemed simple and it was in the best of all possible situation. Sadly, most cases were never as simple as they could be.
"If this keeps up we will have to name the brand. Though I don’t have a gift for such things. I will leave that in your hands." Looking to the tied and bound Leopard he sighed again as it was far too long for an alpha to be out. This level of weakness meant that Samuel would have to use kid gloves to drive home the point. It would either be a far shorter trip tan he’d planned or an extremely longer one.
“I had not planned on visiting but things are… in flux. What can you tell me of Reno? My Contacts in Carson have been less than forth coming and Sacramento has a non-aggression pact in place which they refuse to compromise.”

He laughed a full sound then, but pausing " the most current name being kicked around is Banksom which is catchy. Sounds like money and power and they have been very powerful horses."
Hw was proud noticing that things gad gotten quiet again." so if you find your self this way let me know..you can stay at the ranch. I will not keep you it sounds as if you are busy"
He was very non chalant about it all.

Smauel smiled deciphering what wasn’t said more than what was. It was scant but it was enough. Sho had his hands as full as he would make them keeping the city intact. He knew the man was a monster to be reckoned with so if he was handling things with the full force of his attention Samuel knew it was bad for those forcing his hand and the situation as a whole.
The news about the Ulfric being young and focused on the Indian lands meant that if needs be it would be a free passage so long as nothing involved the wolves or the Indian lands. His lack of sharing information about Reno meant nothing good would come of trying to approach it that way. He just wished Sac would lighten up he didn’t want to invade, well yes he did but only to route out the source of the Vitamin V.
Unless that was the key to it all it wasn’t some outlier it was the Kiss or at least had the Kisses knowledge. So while maybe not officially sanctioned whoever it was sufficiently powerful to tie the Kisses hand. "I suppose you are right youth is a tool I miss though I can’t say I was every truly young by the implied vernacular. I doubt you ever were either. Goodbye Shomari."
Ending the call he made his way to the sink and filled a bowl.

He knew his friend had understood what he was meant to and would head in the right direction His smile was wide as hecsat down the phone in time for the sound of a car up the drive He made his way to the door.
